If you have a flexible schedule or are planning a trip or swamp tour in the future, feel free to purchase the number of tickets needed and call our scheduling number. If you and your group need a specific time and day, call our toll free booking number before purchasing and we can confirm your desired tour and process over the phone.   **DISCLAIMER: Even with a ticket purchase, your reservation is not complete until a tour time has been scheduled. Call to schedule your specific tour.** Can I purchase a single seat? What are the group options? Each ticket price is per person. That being said, groups of up to 22-24 are welcome, but their parties will be split into two boats. What does a tour cost? The prices depend on the type and size of the boat and whether transportation is included.  Pontoon Boat Swamp Tours are $65 per person without transportation, and $75 per person with transportation. Large Airboat Swamp Tours are $85 per person without transportation, and $95 per person with transportation. Small Airboat Swamp Tours are $105 per person without transportation, and $115 per person with transportation. How long are the tours? Our swamp tours typically last approximately 1.5 hours. Please allow additional time for check-in, boarding, and transportation if applicable. Do you offer transportation? Hotel shuttle services are available from most hotels in the French Quarter and in the New Orleans Central Business District. Select the "with transportation option during the online checkout for only $10 per person. Shuttles pickup at a predetermined schedule. Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are also an easy option in New Orleans. I had trouble finding the place, will you hold my tour boat? Unfortunately no, we cannot hold the boat for late arrivals. It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your booking time in order to check in. Can all ages enjoy a swamp tour? Yes. Guests under 48 inches tall, regardless of age, cannot ride the airboats. However, guests of all ages and heights are welcome on our covered swamp boat tours. Are the Airboats safe? Pregnant guests are not permitted on airboat tours. However, pregnant guests can be accommodated on one of our covered swamp boat tours. Guests with back, neck, or hip problems should also avoid airboat tours. Airboats provide a faster, choppier ride, while our covered swamp boat tours provide a more laid back, slower speed swamp tour. Do I need to bring anything? Dress comfortably for the weather. We recommend sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat during warmer months. Evening tours may be cooler, so consider bringing a light jacket. Our regular swamp boats are covered. Airboat passengers may experience strong winds, light rain, or water spray. Secure loose items and hairpieces, and consider wearing a hooded rain jacket or protective hair covering. Ponchos are available for purchase in our gift shop.   Reservation & Refund Policy Thank you for purchasing services from LaBiche Swamp Tours. Reservations are strongly encouraged but not required.  Guests with reservations will have priority over walk-ins. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and must be confirmed by our booking office. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled tour time. Are the swamp tours wheelchair accessible? Yes. Guests who use wheelchairs can be accommodated on our covered swamp boat tours. A ramp provides access to and from the docks. If you have specific mobility or accessibility needs, please contact us before your tour so the appropriate arrangements can be made. Are there restrooms on the boats? There are restrooms available at the docks before and after your tour. There are no restrooms on the boats, so we recommend using the facilities before boarding. Can you arrange food and drinks after our tour? Yes. We can arrange a crawfish boil and drinks at Mona Lisa Lounge, conveniently located across the street, for an additional cost. Arrangements can be made in advance so everything is ready after your tour. This gives your group an easy place to eat, have a drink, and relax after being out on the swamp without having to find somewhere else to go. Please contact us in advance for availability and pricing. Will I get wet during the tour? Guests on airboat tours may experience water spray or light rain depending on weather and conditions. We recommend bringing a rain jacket, hood, or other protective covering when necessary. Ponchos are also available for purchase at the gift shop. Our regular swamp boats are covered by a roof and provide greater protection from the elements. What is the difference between an airboat and a covered swamp boat? Airboats provide a faster, open-air experience and may expose guests to wind, water spray, and the elements. Our covered swamp boats offer a more traditional swamp tour experience with a roof for protection from the sun and rain. Covered swamp boats can also accommodate guests who use wheelchairs and pregnant guests who cannot participate in an airboat tour. What happens if my tour is canceled because of weather? Safety comes first. Tours may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled when weather conditions make it unsafe to operate.
